We are open daily from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm Monday to Sunday
What time is Check-In & Check-Out ?
Check-In : 2.00 pm to 6.00 pm
Check-Out : 7.30 am to 10.00 am
Is after hours Check-In available ?
Guests arriving after 6.00 pm MUST contact the property on the day of their arrival for instructions on motel’s after hours check-in procedures. Guest MUST check-in with reception staff the following morning & complete registration details.
Is late Check-Out / Early Check-In available ?
Late check-out / Early check-in is subject to availability, and is NOT available during peak seasons or high occupancy periods. Late check-out / Early check-in, if available, will incur additional fees being charged. If you wish to leave your luggage with us after check-out, we are more than happy to store it for you free of charge. Should you wish to DEPART EARLY before our office opens, we request that you leave the keys inside the room, close all windows & lock the front door upon your departure.
When do I have to pay a deposit ?
In order to secure your reservation, all accommodation charges are payable at the time the reservation is made.
Runaway Bay Motor Inn accepts Visacard, Mastercard & Eftpos. This property does not accept payments with American Express & Diners Club credit cards.
What is your Cancellation Policy ?
Cancellations advised outside 7 days prior to check-in date are fully refundable less a
Cancellations advised inside 7 days prior to check-in date are Non-Refundable unless
Cancellations advised outside 30 days prior to check-in date are fully refundable
Cancellations advised inside 30 days prior to check-in date are Non-Refundable
The Administration Fee covers the cost of processing the booking, cancelling the booking and bank fees.
Do you require a Security Bond upon Check-In ?
Runaway Bay Motor Inn requires a valid photo ID, along with a credit card authorisation (pre-auth) of $200 AUD at time of check-in. This may be used to cover any additional costs incurred during guest’s stay including, but not limited to, any breakages, damage or additional cleaning charges in excess of the normal level of cleaning, extra guests and or extra bedding used beyond that declared on original booking. The pre-authorisation will affect your available funds balance and spending limit. For more information on this practice we suggest the cardholder contact their card issuer. A pre-authorisation may be held by your bank for up to 5 – 7 working days after your check-out date. Where a credit card is not available a minimum $200 AUD cash deposit will be required. Upon departure your room will be inspected by a staff member before authorisation of return of monies.
Can I make a reservation if I'm under 18?
We wish to advise that we DO NOT accept any bookings of persons who are under the age of 18 Yrs. ALL guests under 18 Yrs of age MUST be accompanied by a parent / guardian or an individual whom we consider to be a responsible person. We have the right to refuse any booking when the legal guardian or responsible person cannot provide current Photo ID.

Directions on how to get to Runaway Bay Motor Inn
|When travelling north or south on the M1 Motorway take Exit 62 – Helensvale (South) / Labrador, this is Brisbane Road / Gold Coast Highway. Once on this road follow signs to LABRADOR. You will travel through 9 (nine) sets of traffic lights, as you approach the 10th set of lights (Harbour Town Shopping Centre will be to your left) veer into the left hand turning lane and turn left into OXLEY DRIVE. The Runaway Bay Motor Inn is located a further 2km on the left.

|Airtrain is a direct rail service which operates from Brisbane Airport to the Gold Coast. Helensvale Station is the nearest station to Runaway Bay Motor Inn & then just a short 15 minute taxi ride to us.
